Buckeye Partners is currently seeking an IT Analyst II, Enterprise Architecture to join our growing team!

Role Summary:

The IT Analyst II, Enterprise Architecture role will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of the enterprise architecture framework. This role involves analyzing and documenting the current state of the IT environment, identifying gaps, and recommending solutions to align IT strategy with business goals. The Analyst will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of architectural standards and best practices.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions include:




  • Architecture Development:Assist in the development and maintenance of the enterprise architecture framework, including the creation of architectural models, diagrams, and documentation.


  • Analysis and Assessment:Conduct assessments of the current IT environment to identify gaps and areas for improvement. Provide recommendations for aligning IT strategy with business objectives.


  • Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business processes, and ensure alignment with architectural standards.


  • Solution Design:Support the design and evaluation of IT solutions to ensure they meet architectural standards and business requirements. Provide input on technology selection and implementation strategies.


  • Documentation:Maintain comprehensive documentation of the enterprise architecture, including architectural models, standards, and guidelines. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.


  • Compliance and Governance:Ensure compliance with architectural standards, policies, and best practices. Participate in governance processes to review and approve architectural changes.


  • Continuous Improvement:Stay current with industry trends and best practices in enterprise architecture. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation within the IT environment.


  • Customer Service. Provide exceptional customer service.


  • Process Improvements. Contribute and/or Lead based on knowledge and experience, continuously identify potential opportunities to increase efficiencies and/or improvements to existing processes. Identify gaps in the current business model and propose processes that will help move the business forward.


  • And other duties as assigned.



Position Requirements:




  • Education. Bachelor's degree in computer science or business desired, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.


  • 3-5 Years of enterprise architecture and/or IT technical analysis experience.


  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, application development, and cloud technologies.


  • Certifications in (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman) is desired


  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


  • Proficiency in architectural modeling tools and frameworks.


  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally

Essential Functions:




  • This position requires the ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and or/quantitative productivity standards.


  • This role requires the ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.


  • This position requires compliance with all personnel policies.



Physical & Safety Requirements:




  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.
  • This role continuously operates a computer and other office productivity equipment (i.e. a calculator, copy machine and computer printer).
