Quality Assurance Analyst

RCG is a growing federal contracting company and Certified as a Great Place to Work. We are currently seeking Quality Assurance Analyst to support our government client site in Suitland, MD. Individuals will work a hybrid schedule of three (3) days on-site two (2) telework days.

Due to security requirements, all successful candidates will be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident and be able to successfully pass the required background check.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

Support the Team. This includes documentation assistance and interface with the Assistant Chief Information Officer - Satellites (ACIO-S) in a Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) mitigation function. Metrics allow for determining future corrections and gauging the effectiveness of current management processes. Team members shall have skills in one or more of the experience/expertise areas listed below:



  • Must meet minimum qualifications for QA Support as noted in LCAT description below.
  • Shall have significant experience providing comprehensive Quality Control (QC) support of all deliverables in a cybersecurity environment.
  • Integrates in-depth specialty knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices.
  • Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Superior oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to analyze processes and articulate recommendations to improve quality, controls, and efficiency.
  • Provide quality control support for all deliverables before the Government conducts Quality Assurance.
  • Reports to Program Manager / Deputy Program Manager



Requirements:



  • U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident and be able to successfully pass the required background check.
  • Must be able to work in hybrid work environment including both on-site and telework.
  • 4-Year bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering or 10 years of experience in IT Systems Engineering or IT security architecture.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, collaborate with various people and organizations
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written in the English language



Certifications:



  • At least one (1) of the relevant Security and/or Architecture certifications from either (ISC)2 or ISACA, or CompTIA.
