We are seeking a talented and motivated Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in understanding our organization's needs and objectives then translating them into clear and concise requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, conduct interviews and workshops, and analyze existing business processes and systems.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Gather and analyze business requirements: Understand the business needs and objectives of our organization and translate them into clear and concise requirements. Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analyze existing business processes and systems
  • Document and communicate requirements: Document requirements in a clear and structured manner, such as requirement specifications, user stories, or use cases. Communicate these requirements to stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and testers, to ensure a common understanding
  • Conduct business process analysis: Analyze and evaluate existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, areas for improvement, and opportunities for automation. Work closely with process owners and stakeholders to recommend process changes and drive process improvement initiatives
  • Facilitate solution design and development: Collaborate with technical teams, such as software developers and architects, to design and develop solutions that meet the business requirements. Provide input and guidance on system design, user interface design, and data structures, ensuring that the solution aligns with the business needs
  • Support testing and implementation: Create test scenarios and test cases based on defined requirements. Assist in user acceptance testing, ensuring that the solution meets the business requirements and is user-friendly. Support the implementation of the solution by providing guidance and training to end-users
  • Work with less structured, more complex issues: Tackle challenging, less structured issues, and provide innovative solutions
  • Serve as a resource to others: Share your expertise and serve as a valuable resource to others in the organization

Required Qualifications:



  • Domain Certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, Scrum, Lean Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar
  • 10+ years in a Project Manager or Business Analyst role supporting cyber security programs
  • 10+ years of experience with business analysis and process improvement, preferably in cybersecurity or technology sectors
  • 10+ years of experience with data analysis for root cause determination and gap remediation, with a focus on advanced analytics techniques
  • 5+ years of experience supporting cross-functional security teams in continuous improvement efforts

The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
