Sr. HRIS Analyst

The Senior HRIS Analyst will be responsible for hands-on configuration and maintenance of Diamondback's Workday platform and providing elevated system support as a Workday SME. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer service experience to support HR, payroll, and other business units utilizing Workday - including internal employees.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for Workday-related inquiries and technical support
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to Workday HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, Recruiting, and other modules
  • Work with our consulting firm on complex issues
  • Manage system updates, configuration changes, and testing of new Workday releases
  • Monitor system performance and ensure everything is working as expected
  • Maintain system security, role-based access controls, and data integrity
  • Provide training sessions and one-on-one support to employees as needed
  • Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and user experience
  • Develop and generate customized reports based on HR and business needs.
  • Oversee all Workday integrations with third-party vendors and internal applications
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls and other internal/external data governance and audit requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Human Resources, Business Administration - or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience supporting Workday, preferably in a corporate or HRIS environment
  • Experience with Workday configuration, security roles, and business process administration
  • Strong understanding of Workday functionality, business processes, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience in the oil & gas or energy industry
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of HR, payroll, and financial business processes
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
