Graphic Designer (Digital and Print)

Long term contract (1 year with strong possibility to extend)

Hybrid position in Northern suburbs -3 days onsite/2 days remote- NO FLEX

Our global pharmaceutical client is seeking a Graphic Designer for a long-term contract. This individual will collaborate with designers, web developers, motion artists, writers, editors and account/project managers. Projects include updating existing materials, create new materials, such as brochures, journal ads, product packaging, event signage, emails, web banner ads, social media ads, interactive PDF's, and websites.

Responsibilities:



  • Attend meetings and set priorities with project managers to meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with creative managers, writers, and designers and create user-centric, and accessible digital and print materials within the confines of FDA regulations.
  • Update digital and print projects started by other designers or partner agencies.
  • Optimize artwork and layouts for use across digital and print projects.
  • Visualize clinical trials data and create infographics in Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Create email campaign layouts in Knak Email Builder and SalesForce Marketing Cloud Email Builder.
  • Design interactive sales aids in InDesign in client's (CRM) platform.
  • Wireframe and prototype web banner ads, social media ads, and websites in Adobe XD or Figma.
  • Create digital mockups in Photoshop and color correct, retouch, and optimize images for digital and print use.
  • Understand brand guidelines and UI/UX design principles.
  • Source stock photos and video footage.
  • Present to large teams and articulate design decisions clearly.


Must Have:



  • Bachelor's degree in design, advertising, or related discipline; at least 5 years of experience developing professional digital and print materials.
  • Technical skills: Expertise in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD or Figma; awareness of trends in graphic design and digital and print technologies.
  • Soft skills: High degree of initiative to drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment; ability to absorb and respond to constructive feedback and turn projects around quickly when off course.
  • Portfolio: Must provide samples of work to be considered.
