Location:Gulf Coast Medical Center -13681 Doctor's WayFort Myers FL 33912 Department: Pharmacy Work Type: Full Time Shift: Shift 1/9:00:00 AM to 7:00:00 PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$56.40 - $76.14 / hour SummaryProvides support for the day-to-day oversight of clinical and distributive services through the effective management of pharmacy staff. Serves as a liaison to Nursing and Medical Staff to ensure and oversee the provision of safe, effective, and efficient patient-centered pharmacy services including but not limited to: medication acquisition, storage, security, preparation, and distribution. Represents the pharmacy department in matters concerning department operations. Responsible for assuring staff productivity and fostering an environment where pharmacy services are provided in an accurate, appropriate, and timely manner. Ascertains that assigned pharmacy staff members demonstrate a level of competence, professionalism, and customer service as defined and required by job performance standards and professional practice. All job duties shall be performed in accordance with all applicable State and Federal laws, applicable regulatory bodies, and policies and procedures of the health system and pharmacy department.
