A Brief Overview
The Workday Financials Intern will gain exposure to various areas of accounting, reporting and various aspects of the company's business through collaboration with various team members and technology tools. This may include various duties to support the Workday Financials Implementation project, including conducting unit testing and end to end testing, as well as training quick guides for various functional modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general accounting.

What you will do



  • Participate in unit testing and end to end testing.
  • Enter test transactions and validate against expected results.
  • Conduct test scenarios for various functional modules of the Workday test tenant.
  • Obtain necessary documentation from business unit personnel to prepare and enter test transactions.
  • Prepare quick start training guides and/or training videos as assigned.


Qualifications



  • Accounting major required from an accredited university with an anticipated graduation date no later than December 2025. Required
  • Major GPA of 3.0, or higher Required
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Excel and MS Office. Smartsheet skills preferred.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail, work independently.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Motivation and a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible in an environment with complex transactions and willingness to ask questions/request support when needed.
