As a Senior Applications Developer, you will be responsible for managing various complex IT projects as well as analyzing, designing, and configuring business processes such as collections, decision support, tax clearance, case management, bankruptcy, bank attachment, wage garnishment, liens, and payment plans. This professional utilizes GenTax tools and components to participate in the design, system configuration, code development, change management, migration management, and system documentation of business processes for the administration of taxes.

Excellent networking skills are utilized to meet with business team members to discuss requests for customization and determine the feasibility, detailed requirements, and the priority for each request for new development or enhancements to the PATH system. Within this role, it is essential to maintain a working knowledge of the latest state-of-the-art technology and advancements as they apply to application development.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, however you will be required to report to the office one day per month. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year as an Applications Developer 2 or Computer Programmer 4; or
• Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or
• Five years of information technology experience that includes three years of experience in applications development or applications maintenance; or
• One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

• This position will have access to Federal Tax Information (FTI) and is subject to the provisions of IRS Publication 1075 (Pub 1075) which requires you to pass an enhanced background check prior to beginning employment.
