DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Human Services Program Representative 1 for the North Central Secure Treatment Unit in Montour County, you will be providing consultative support of BJJS programs and facilities under the regulatory jurisdiction of the Department of Human Services. Consultation is provided, as needed, to ensure the implementation of departmental policy and to reinforce conformance of program administration and service with policies. You will analyze BJJS programs, provide consultative services leading toward the improvement of the quality and efficiency of operations, and submit appropriate recommendations when needed, including investigating complaints and incident reports and prepares reports on finding. Your work will help ensure that our facilities provide adolescents who have been adjudicated delinquent by their county judicial system with appropriate and effective individualized treatment services based on their individual strengths and needs. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. May change based on operational needs.
- Overtime is worked on an as-needed basis.
- Travel is required.
- Free parking.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, after successful completion of the training period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Danville, Montour County.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $ 66,250 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating a human service program, and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
