Human Services Program Representative 1, North Central Secure Treatment Unit, Montour County

Department of Human Services is seeking an individual who is knowledgeable of how to plan, organize, and direct the development, integration, coordination, and evaluation of all aspects of quality assurance program and operational risk management for our Bureau of Juvenile Justice Services (BJJS). As a Human Services Program Representative 1 for the North Central Secure Treatment Unit in Montour County, you will be providing consultative support of BJJS programs and facilities under the regulatory jurisdiction of the Department of Human Services. Consultation is provided, as needed, to ensure the implementation of departmental policy and to reinforce conformance of program administration and service with policies.

You will analyze BJJS programs, provide consultative services leading toward the improvement of the quality and efficiency of operations, and submit appropriate recommendations when needed, including investigating complaints and incident reports and prepares reports on finding. Your work will help ensure that our facilities provide adolescents who have been adjudicated delinquent by their county judicial system with appropriate and effective individualized treatment services based on their individual strengths and needs. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. May change based on operational needs.
• Overtime is worked on an as-needed basis.
• Travel is required.

• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, after successful completion of the training period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Danville, Montour County.
• Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $ 66,250 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Three years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating a human service program, and a bachelor's degree; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Legal Requirements:

• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
