Columbia University in the City of New York: Columbia University Irving Medical Center: Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons: Anesthesiology Location 02 Open Date May 01, 2024 Salary Range or Pay Grade $292,100 - $334,800 a year Description The Department of Anesthesiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons, invites applications to join our pediatric anesthesiology team. Faculty members of the Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology exclusively provide anesthesia care for all pediatric patients from newborns to 20-year-olds. Requirements for this position include the following: 1. Completion of ACGME or AOA accredited Fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology. 2. Board certified or in the examination process for board certification in anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology, with clinical experience providing anesthesia care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents. 3. Must have or be eligible for a New York state medical license. Teaching interest is expected and research interest is preferred. Responsibilities will include patient care, supervision and teaching of residents, fellows and medical students, and active participation in Departmental activities.
