Job Summary

Under general supervision of the Network Service Center Supervisor, the Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day operations managing all aspects of their programs such as AT&T cellular service, serves as backup to the Program Coordinator responsible for Directory Services, etc., fulfills service requests, answers incoming calls from the main campus line as well as other supported services, ensuring high-quality in their work including customer support. This position engages with campus clients and works collaboratively with various teams to maintain efficient service delivery. Additionally, this position creates knowledge materials and training resources ensuring adherence to organizational standards and processes.

Candidates must already possess authorization to work in the United States to be considered.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience using interpersonal, customer service and written communication skills to effectively, professionally and collaboratively convey information to a diverse clientele.
  • Experience with provisioning requests via vendor portals or web-based interfaces.
  • Experience in knowledge management, including creating training documents and presentations.
  • Ability to identify problems, analyze information, and formulate effective solutions.
  • Ability to use administrative-level access to troubleshoot data inconsistencies and software issues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher.
  • Experience in provisioning and supporting enterprise-level technical systems and services, such as AT&T Cellular and Zoom.
  • Experience with creating and/ or analyzing reports and dashboards
  • Familiarity with process improvement and change management methodologies.

Department Overview

Information and Educational Technology (IET) Support Services provides world class service for IET's enterprise systems and services. Leveraging ever-changing technology, data, and knowledge, the Support Services team enhances the value of the customer experience in support of the UC Davis mission to teach, learn, and research.

This role involves managing daily operations and supporting programs and services including cellular services and directory services within an IT service environment, focusing on service delivery, systems management, and customer support.

Work Environment

  • Hire MUST be located in-state. (Out of state applicants will be considered but must relocate instate if hired). This position is Hybrid (required to be on -site 3 days per week, remote 2 days per week).
