A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, accredited by regional, national, professional or specialized agencies recognized as accrediting bodies by the U. S. Secretary of Education and by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and four years of satisfactory, full-time community liaison, community organization or community relations experience, at least two years of which must have been in a broad administrative or policy-making capacity with responsibility for planning, organizing, coordinating, developing, evaluating and/or administering a large community service program or activity; or Preferred Skills
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in public administration, public policy, government affairs, or communications Solid foundational knowledge in data collection, organization, analysis, and communication including the ability to visualize/package data stories appropriately for an audience Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and external partners including key stakeholders at City Hall Three to five years of program and grant management experience Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities ***In order to be considered for this position candidate must be serving permanently in the title of Administrative Community Relations Specialist, NM , or reachable on the civil service list, or eligible under the 55a program*** 55a Program
