The Senior Director, Operations is focused on delivering optimized productivity across business lines and has overall strategic and operational responsibility for bringing the maximized impact of our platform to our team members. They serve as a business partner to the Central Market Director and local leadership. The position will partner closely with the North Texas leaders and will be responsible for all aspects of operations, including Strategic Planning/Execution, Financial Reporting, Growth Opportunities/M&A, Support Resources Management, Implementation of Firm Initiatives, and Corporate Lease and Occupancy Planning.
In addition to the Market Director, this position provides guidance and support to market-based Service Line Leadership, including the Broker Lead(s), Project & Development Services (PDS) Lead, and Property Management (PM) Lead. The Operations Lead is responsible for driving programs that leverage and improve productivity and expand capacity at all levels in the market. Responsibilities range from driving decisions, implementing initiatives, and providing recommendations on the strategic direction of the business. We are seeking a candidate with a proven ability to drive operational excellence, process improvement, foster a diverse and inclusive work environment, develop high performing teams, while driving change and desired outcomes. The role provides a unique opportunity with exposure to all aspects of the business in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Partner with North Texas leadership to achieve business objectives and firm/regional initiatives and deliver operational support based on opportunities and best practices Facilitate firm special projects, such as Strategic Planning Sessions and Competitive Analysis to help build the strategy for the local Market Partner with local corporate functional leaders, including Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Marketing, Research, Sales Enablement and Facilities to deliver key business priorities in the following areas: Finance: In conjunction with the Finance team, develop the annual operating, revenue and capital budgets; re-evaluate the business performance quarterly and provide reforecast(s) when appropriate; and ensure compliance with Firm's regional and local market specific policies, including expense policies and pre-approval requirements Human Resources: Collaborate with HR to support the JLL culture, employee engagement, and diversity & inclusion efforts in the Central Market; oversee comp planning process, performance reviews and promotions Marketing: Partner with the Marketing team in the design and implementation of a comprehensive internal communication program; contribute to local event planning/execution; local PR to promote the brand Research: Establish and promote effective Research deliverables to support the Central Market Sales Enablement: Engage with the Sales Enablement team to ensure pursuit support needs are met for the business and optimize the local teams' pursuit process Facilities: Liaise with on-site facility team to ensure all facilities needs are met; manage occupancy planning matters; oversee all local moves, expansions, relocations and lease renewals Primary point of contact on all legal matters including tracking of regional leases, law suites, broker off-boarding and business procedures Obtain regional growth objectives by supporting the Market Director on due diligence and integration of M&A targets Provide effective internal communication keep team members informed of strategic plans and major initiatives Develop, implement and track region wide and national training initiatives and programs Facilitate cross business line collaboration that results in increased revenue and OneJLL Manage and develop direct reports in Pacific Northwest Brokerage Operations Special projects as determined and assigned Experience and Qualifications Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, Finance) and/or at least 10-15 years of relevant experience preferably in the CRE industry. Strong business and financial acumen to understand/provide context for decisions; ability to influence and challenge decisions as appropriate Proven successful track record of working in fast-paced sales environments Demonstrated leadership ability with collaborative management style and a minimum of 5-10+ years of people management experience Critical thinker with high emotional intelligence and strong conflict management ability Effective delegator with proven experience developing high performing teams and high employee engagement. Experience partnering with C-Suite level leaders - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Excellent project management ability - solutions-oriented, organized, and resourceful Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and confidentiality |
