Communications & Marketing Intern

Novolex is a leader in packaging innovation, choice and sustainability. We manufacture products in paper, plastic and sustainable materials for the food, retail, health and industrial markets.

This is a homebased internship.

A cover letter is needed when applying for this position. A portfolio is also preferred.

Travel at 10% on occasion.

• Create a themed communication plan that utilizes strategic storytelling and design. Goal to improve our engagement of internal communication campaigns by 5%.
• Create and launch a user-generated content campaign.
• Draft communications through December 31, 2025 based on the communications calendar.
• Creating campaigns within our database.
• Create new Shortcut/Resource/Topic icons to match the internal branding.
• Assist in developing strategic slide decks for internal communications efforts.

• Communications/ HR/ or Marketing Degree preferred
• Adobe or Canva Suite Skills
• Strong overall computer skills, advanced Microsoft Excel skill.
• Access database skills a strong plus.
• Good communication skills

• Hands-on experience working with and learning from cross functional leadership
• Exposure to a multi-billion dollar, fast-paced manufacturing company that places an emphasis on sustainability initiatives
• Develop key skills through Intern Events focused on your growth and development - focus on networking, resume writing/interview preparation, and guidance on creating and delivering presentations
• This is a paid internship
