Responsibilities

Key Accountabilitities:

  • Maintains synchronization of a supply chain between various organizations, customers, and suppliers by managing inventory systems, simulation, and modeling forecasting data
  • Ordering from procurement contracts, and managing spares delivery scheduling systems
  • Monitors customer inventory demand and material assets on hand or in transit to optimize total supply chain planning
  • Incorporates planning decisions from external customers and suppliers to reduce material and product variability and arrive at optimal solutions
  • Negotiates lead times with suppliers and manages schedules for timely delivery
  • Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, and warehousing

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Supply Chain Planning role.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as the focal / Customer Service Representative, regarding inbound and outbound freight
  • Minimum 3 years experience with Material Handling Equipment: tugs, forklifts of various size and style; Overhead Crane use; Use of Hand Tools
  • Minimum 3 years working with hazardous material shipping and handling (IATA, IMDG, and DOT)
  • Moderate Computer Knowledge-Skills, MS Office Suite and SAP
  • Must be familiar with ITAR and international import and export shipping requirements
  • Ability to do manual labor (must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and squat etc, while doing daily duties)
  • Exceptional Communication and presentation skills/ability to Multi-Task

Education Requirements:

  • Associate's degree, or higher, in Business Management, Logistics or Supply Chain Management OR minimum of 5 years experience with no degree
