As a Compensation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing compensation strategies that align with organizational goals. In this dynamic position, you will utilize your analytical expertise and in-depth understanding of compensation principles to provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations. Your technical skills, combined with strong business acumen and effective communication, will empower you to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver compensation solutions that drive results and support overall business success.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:



  • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications) [multiple levels]:

    • Associate HR Specialist: $25.00-28.50 plus annual bonus opportunity
    • HR Specialist: $28.50-36.10, plus annual bonus opportunity
    • SR HR Specialist: $74,000-$100,000, plus annual bonus opportunity


  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2025, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2025, which is prorated based on the start date.



WHAT YOU'LL DO:



  • Assist in the analysis of compensation and competitive data, including market benchmarks and internal factors, to evaluate equity and competitiveness and support total rewards programs.
  • Manage salary survey data, ensuring timely submission and organization to maintain accurate compensation benchmarks.
  • Utilize data modeling and analytics to assess the effectiveness of compensation programs and provide data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Prepare and present dashboards, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders, to drive informed decision-making.
  • Support the design, implementation, communication and administration of incentive, pay, and recognition programs while ensuring compliance with compensation-related regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments on various projects, and maintain data integrity in HR systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping.



WHAT YOU'LL BRING:



  • CCP designation or willingness to obtain designation
  • Strong written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights and recommendations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, and charts) and PowerPoint
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and able to work both independently and in teams
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work at our home office located in Omaha, Nebraska, in a hybrid environment



PREFERRED:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with HRMS systems
  • Familiarity with compensation concepts or related coursework
