Position Summary: The primary function of the Vice President Corporate Development is to work closely with business leaders and c-suite executives to plan, identify, source, develop, analyze, evaluate, negotiate, execute and integrate global strategic growth initiatives of the Company. These include (but are not necessarily limited to) strategic Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Greenfields, and certain other strategic expansion projects as identified by the company. Duties & Responsibilities: Strategy
- Work closely with executive leadership to create and implement global corporate strategy focusing on key company goals.
- Review important industry trends and changing market conditions and coordinate with functional discipline leadership to deliver clear objectives and an actionable strategic plan including both organic and inorganic growth plans.
- Communicate strategy to Board of Directors.
M&A Origination
- Coordinate efforts on inorganic growth strategy by identifying, sourcing and developing acquisition candidates and expansion opportunities with operational business leaders and c-suite executives.
- Build relationships with potential sellers and manage dialogue and creation of deal strategy.
- Manage preliminary diligence process to vet, analyze and evaluate potential opportunities for strategic fit with the organization.
- Create internal acquisition thesis based on key investment criteria and suggest appropriate valuation and structure for presentation to executive leadership team.
- Negotiate preliminary Letter of Intent.
M&A Transaction / Execution
- Manage entire transaction process including due diligence (internal and 3rd party), negotiation of definitive documents, preparation of detailed financial analyses and cash flow projections.
- Presentation of final package to executive leadership team and Board of Directors for approval.
- Lead project team through integration efforts including employee/customer/vendor communication and ERP/Hardware systems transition.
Greenfields & Organic Growth Strategy
- Coordinate review and analysis of greenfield opportunities and other organic growth strategies.
- Work closely with operational business leads to create comprehensive investment thesis and financial budget detailing incremental performance impact to the organization and corresponding investment costs.
- Ensure opportunities meet minimum return thresholds outlined by the company.
- Lead approval process.
Internal & External Communication
- Coordinate external communication of growth initiatives and activity with Investor Relations (IR) team and executive management.
- Quarterly presentation to Company Board of Directors regarding strategic initiatives pipeline updates and updates on actual results.
- Measure and monitor return on investment across businesses and geographies relative to plan.
Team Management & Personnel Development
- Actively manage team of 2-3 junior resources including workflows and personnel development.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree; emphasis in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 10 years of related work experience; prior transactional experience in investment banking, accounting or consulting with related industry exposure preferred
- Ability to manage supporting team of 2-3 direct reports
- Strong knowledge and skills of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial accounting principles
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial spreading and financial modeling

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position in an office environment 80% of the time.
