The Cardiopulmonary Business unit has a unique portfolio of leading cardiopulmonary products that are used to treat millions of patients worldwide. Through a complete range of cardiopulmonary equipment and disposables led by the worlds #1 heart lung machine, LivaNova has been offering customer centric integrated perfusion solutions for decades. We are taking the next step in our commitment to innovation and development of perfusion practice with the launch of the completely redesigned Essenz Perfusion system. The Essenz Perfusion System is built on a 50-year legacy of trusted partnerships with perfusionists. It is designed to meet evolving standards of safety and reliability to deliver lifesaving care to patients.

Position Summary:

Analyzes business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Responsibilities include the ability to work in a global team-oriented environment to collect requirements, perform research, analysis requirements, testing & software validation, preparation of proper application documentation, and

provides ongoing support to users through maintenance and troubleshooting.

General Responsibilities:

  • Exercises good judgement in methods, techniques, and implementation of information technology systems.

  • Demonstrate desire to learn the appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization.

  • General understanding of multiple business disciplines with working knowledge of manufacturing systems and applying computer system solutions to meet business requirements.

  • Independently solves common challenges in direct area of responsibility, reviews root causes and identifies future learnings, works under general direction, setting approaches and timeframes in line with assignment objectives.

  • Assist to design end-to-end ERP solutions based on business requirements.

  • Assist in developing blueprints and documentation for ERP/Supply Chain landscapes.

  • Assists the department in reviewing current systems and developing Datawarehouse solutions to allow seamless reporting.

  • Facilitates departments obtaining new computer systems or modifications to existing systems by understanding the functions of the department and analyzing current processing and procedures, advising them on appropriate alternatives in meeting their computing needs, and assisting them in the preparation of associated requests.

  • Supporting the quality and regulatory departments to ensure high quality standards are met when developing or integrating solutions.

  • Contributes to the overall success of IT by performing all other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 - 3 years of enterprise-level experience in one or more of the following areas is required:

a) project management of information technology projects.

b) database or IT application support.

  • Experience with Business Intelligence, RDBMS and SQL, and technology security issues are required.

  • Proven abilities in demonstrating good judgment, building effective working relationships, and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.

  • Demonstrate ability to initiate, promote, and exhibit team-oriented behavior.

  • Dedicated to quality client service with proactive and responsive action to client needs.

  • Requires ability and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

  • Strong technical skills and current technical knowledge are required.

  • The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds is required.

  • Must be available to assist in non-standard hours as needed.

  • Demonstrated ability to accept personal accountability and ownership for areas of responsibility. Pursue and make timely decisions.

  • Demonstrated initiative to continue life-long learning.

  • Experience working within a regulated environment like medical device or life sciences.

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, labelling applications.

Education:

  • BA/BS related to Computer Science, Engineering or Business. MS is preferred.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel (10%-20%) may be required.

Pay Transparency: A reasonable estimate of the annual base salary for this position is $51,000 - $73,000 + discretionary annual bonus. Pay ranges may vary by location.
