Posting Summary	We invite applications for a Post-Doctoral Associate position in Mathematics of Machine and Human Learning working with Dr. Patrick Shafto (shaftolab.com) in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Rutgers University-Newark. We specifically seek an individual with strong mathematical training and expertise and experience working with machine learning, models of cognitive science, and category theoretic tools to understand the colimits of beliefs. The individual would join Dr. Shafto's lab on the Mathematics of Learning Agents. The position is intended to complement our ongoing research developing foundations of learning. The position will start as soon as possible. The position would be for six months, with the possibility of extension pending availability of funds."
