Inova Center for Personalized Health is looking to add a Message Therapist to our outstanding team! Ideally, we want someone to work 10 hours a week between the hours of 12-8, M-F. We are also open Saturday mornings if additional weekend hours are desired. We offer great pay and a fun working environment. We are located at 8100 Innovative Park Drive, Fairfax, Va. We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation. Massage Therapist Job Responsibilities: Ensures a clean and orderly work area. Greets/escorts patients to proper treatment areas in a timely manner. Performs therapeutic massages to patients in the physical therapy clinic. Cleans mats, tables, and equipment, per facility standards, prior to massages. Adheres to department policies regarding timeframe, form, and content of written daily notes. Demonstrates collaboration in communication with team members and is open to feedback and receptive to change. Selects evaluation and treatment methods appropriate for the diagnosis, age group, and patients' physical/emotional status while formulating appropriate treatment plans. Massage Therapist Additional Requirements: Certification - Basic Life Support Licensure - Licensed Massage Therapist Virginia State License Experience - 200 clinical hours and 500 training hours from an accredited massage institute Education - High School diploma or equivalent; Certification from an accredited massage institute
