In this role, you will:

  • Analyze complex customer needs to recommend, design, and implement data and analytics solutions.
  • Code, configure, debug, test, deploy, support and document complex data visualization tools.
  • Communicate effectively with complex data by designing engaging, functional data visualizations; demonstrate command of all best practices, principles, and emerging trends in the field and make effective design decisions to best meet stakeholder needs.
  • Follow established data management practices that enable effective data governance for our stakeholders.
  • Provide stakeholder support across the solution lifecycle by communicating complex technical topics appropriately for the audience and adapt communications for a variety of audiences. Engage with stakeholders through documentation, training, knowledge transfer, status updates, etc. as needed. Promote productive working relationships with direct contacts and reflect understanding of organizational structure.
  • Adhere to bank and system software development methodologies and standards, in addition to the direct team's standards, procedures, and solution patterns for data solutions. Actively participate in the Agile process and ceremonies. Manage and keep assigned work items up to date.

Who You Are:

  • High school diploma and 9 years of related work experience OR
  • Two years of college and 7 years of related work experience OR
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related work experience OR
  • Master's degree and 3 years of related work experience
  • Moderate to extensive knowledge about all aspects of the data domain, with specialized knowledge in reporting and visualization design.
  • Moderate knowledge about related fields such as usability, design, testing, cloud computing, and process analysis is preferred.
  • Moderate to extensive knowledge of development processes, practices, and tools, including Agile Scrum, DevSecOps, git, CI/CD pipelines, testing tools and methods, and work management tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
  • Proficient skills with data visualization tools (Tableau, Quicksight) and data preparation tools (Tableau Prep, Alteryx, etc.)
