Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable RCM Medical Billing Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs for medical billing professionals. The RCM Medical Billing Trainer will play a crucial role in ensuring that our team members acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in medical billing processes, compliance, and software utilization. Deliver comprehensive training on medical billing regulations and compliance standards.

Essential Functions

  • Conduct training sessions for new and existing staff members on customer processes related to pre-billing medical billing audits.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop training materials, modules, and resources tailored for pre-billing medical billing training programs.
  • Maintain meticulous records of training sessions, attendance, and trainee progress.
  • Regularly update training materials and create documentation for future reference to align with evolving payer requirements.
  • Design training materials for new and existing customer to meet payer specifications.
  • Instruct trainees on proficient usage of medical billing software, ensuring accurate data input and report generation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure training content remains current.
  • Deliver comprehensive training on medical billing regulations and compliance standards relevant to pre-billing audits.
  • Provide constructive feedback to trainees and collaborate with management to address any performance gaps.
  • Foster close collaboration with billing team and leadership to meet objectives.
  • Resolve billing and claim issues during implementations to ensure compliance.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in ambulance billing role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and other RCM related platforms
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

Compensation for this position is $25- $30 per hour. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
