Ob/Gyn Ultrasound Sonographer Prenatal Diagnosis Center Part Time 83385BR Job Summary The Sr./Principal Ob/Gyn Ultrasound Sonographer: Performs ultrasound to assist physician in guidance of amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling procedures per operational needs. Performs ultrasound to demonstrate anatomy in fetuses of pregnant women. Participates in improvement activities in department. Maintains appropriate quality control records and participates in routine equipment testing and maintenance. This position is for the SF Mission Bay Prenatal Diagnostic Center location.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for Senior level position is 77.74- 96.64 (Hourly Rate). The decision to use these services belongs exclusively to each pregnant individual and family. Our role is to provide the information and support patients need to make the choices that are right for them. Our center is part of the UCSF Women's Health Center - a nationally designated center of excellence - and patients are ensured the highest quality care and service. They benefit from the most advanced technologies and procedures. Our practitioners bring a wealth of expertise and experience, having performed more than 60,000 amniocentesis procedures and 18,000 chorionic villus sampling procedures over the last 35 years.
