New England Neurological Associates, P.C. (NENA) is a multidisciplinary neuroscience practice that was founded in 1969. NENA has joined Lowell General Hospital and Tufts Medicine, and is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

In this role, you will interface heavily with Tufts Medicine's Memory Care Program and serve as the local clinician of our Memory Care Program in conjunction with our team of Neurologists. Selected by The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Tufts Medicine Integrated Network (TMIN) will participate in the GUIDE (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience) Model beginning in July, 2025.

We will be one of almost 400 participants building Dementia Care Programs (DCPs) across the country, working to increase care coordination and improve access to services and supports, including respite care, for people living with dementia and their caregivers. The CMMI funded GUIDE provides a framework that helps organizations enhance the quality of dementia care through structured practices, continuous improvement, and stakeholder involvement.

This role will allow for opportunities to collaborative with a team of 28 other NENA Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians throughout the NENA system and Tufts Medicine Integrated Network. You will build meaningful relationships within NENA, community partners, hospital institutions, other specialties and the greater community - our vision stretches beyond our four walls.

NENA currently has five locations throughout the Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts and New Hampshire which house neurologists, neurosurgeons, pain management physicians, psychiatrists, rheumatologists, and various support personnel. In this role, you will support patients in Westford, MA and Lawrence, MA.

  • The incoming Advanced Practice Clinician will have a full-time schedule, typically Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p.
  • Join a team of 14 neurology Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians caring for the Merrimack Valley of Mass and New Hampshire.
  • No call or rounding requirements.
  • Each specialty has a secretary team who assists with scheduling, rooming, and triage. Medical assistants are also available.

Requirements:

  • You must be passionate about the behavioral management of memory loss neuroscience and a team player who is excited to work cooperatively with a wide range of stakeholders and disciplines to champion world class patient satisfaction and support.
  • Currently licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (preferred).
