Position Overview The Principal Analyst, Revenue Cycle Operations works closely with cross-functional teams at Exact Sciences to support the development and execution of Company strategies by planning and launching new products and initiatives consistent with the revenue cycle's standard operating procedures. This role is a key conduit for developing, initiating, and incorporating internally developed or acquired products into our comprehensive revenue cycle systems that comprise the Exact Nexus platform. The Principal Analyst works closely with business leads, subject matter experts (SMEs), and cross-functional partners to collect business requirements, design and document workflow processes, and understand opportunities to maximize revenue pull-through by identifying potential gaps in existing processes or other business requirements. Essential Duties Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Design processes that contribute to accurate, consistent, timely downstream financial, customer experience, and operational outcomes, leveraging standardization whenever possible.
- Provide support in developing Order-To-Cash workflows ("OTC") for products internally developed through the Exact Sciences' pipeline or acquisitions.
- Collect OTC product requirements and communicate the vision of technical builds to support the product development lifecycle.
- Co-lead the development of documentation, training materials, and troubleshooting to support the product transition from development to production.
- Provide input into customer-facing content and messaging related to revenue cycle processes.
- Establish and maintain standard tools (such as the Revenue Cycle Playbook, workflow context diagrams, and use cases) to launch or onboard new products.
- Document implementation plans for each new product using revenue cycle project management tools (e.g., playbook) for all projects and initiatives to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
- Support revenue cycle leadership and cross-functional stakeholders in harmonizing processes for newly acquired products before and during integration into the Exact Nexus platform.
- Ensure all project decisions are made according to organizational policies and procedures, consulting with the Compliance and Legal teams as needed.
- Identify potential problems and develops/documents risk mitigation strategies.
- Serve as an SME to facilitate solutions for product requirements gathering and solution design (leveraging other SMEs as needed).
- Support hyper-care activities as needed, post-product implementation.
- Continuously seek opportunities to accelerate and improve the implementation process.
- Manage parallel projects with a high level of technical complexity.
- Keep up to date with Revenue Cycle and Precision Medicine industry trends and emerging technologies, using this knowledge to drive innovation within the organization.
- Promote a team-oriented environment that fosters effective collaboration within and outside of the Revenue Cycle department.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Cycle operations, preferably within an organization leveraging EPIC.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in the Precision Medicine space.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems related to overall workflow processes.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, medical billing, and insurance terms.
- Continuous improvement mindset with experience optimizing handoffs for the end-to-end implementation process.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the position's Essential Duties with or without accommodation.

- Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in healthcare, project management, business, or related field.
- Project management skill experience, including process documentation experience with Visio, Miro, Smartsheet, Confluence, and Jira.
- Experience with innovation management, driving strategic initiatives, optimizing processes, product development, etc.

Salary Range: $152,000.00 - $242,000.00
The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to be considered for company stock at hire and on an annual basis.
