Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President of Care Coordination with oversight provided by the Length of Stay Initiative Leads within the Transformation Office coordinates project planning including resources timeframes budgetary monitoring scheduling and project documentation. Assists with supervision of current projects and coordinates with team members to keep workflow on track.

Maintains up to the minute action plans. Communicates with stakeholders to identify and define project requirements scope deliverables and objectives. Helps to achieve organizational goals while upholding standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:

Is responsible for knowing and acting in accordance with the principles of the Brown University Health Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.

Works closely with Project Leads to create comprehensive action plans which factor in resources budgets and timelines.

Coordinates project planning including resources timeframes deliverables budgetary monitoring scheduling and project documentation.

Communicates with stakeholders to identify and define project requirements scope and objectives.

Coordinates project teams and work groups.

Facilitates project planning and implementation meetings.

Participates in project design meetings and proposes improvements if necessary.

Evaluates potential problems and technical glitches and develops solutions.

Helps to manage team goals project schedules and latest information.

Assists with the creation of project status reports and dashboards.

Assists with supervision of current projects and coordinates with team members to ensure timelines and deliverables are on track. Maintains up to the minute action plans

Manages project-related documentation by ensuring all necessary materials are current properly filed and stored.

Provides direct project correspondences by reviewing project proposals and preparing memos meeting minutes and emails.

Manages project budget by monitoring expenses and assisting with implementation of cost-saving measures.

Helps to achieve organizational goals while upholding standards and best practices.

Completes other duties as assigned

Travels between affiliates or other sites as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor*s Degree preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year progressively more responsible project management experience preferably gained in a healthcare setting in conjunction with a bachelor*s degree or 3 years progressively more responsible project management experience preferably gained in a healthcare setting in conjunction with a high school diploma or equivalent

Proficient with Microsoft Project Excel PowerPoint Word Teams and Visio.

Excellent time-management multi-tasking and analytical skills with detail-oriented focus.

Outstanding interpersonal written and oral communication skills.

Excels in working in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Requires the ability to stay focused in a fast paced every changing environment.

Requires the visual acuity and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and use a typical keyboard and computer mouse to navigate screens on multiple computer monitors

May require extended periods of time standing and walking.

Independent Action:

Performs independently within the department*s policies and practices.

Refers specific complex problems to supervisor when clarification is required.
