Summary

Wholegoods Products are managed and/or sourced within the CNH purchasing department, but the actual production is completed by an external OEM or Contracted Supplier. Wholegoods products includes but not limited to complete tractor, or construction machinery, attachments, and associated service parts.

The Commodity Manager for Wholegoods oversees the procurement of these products, lead the team serves as commodity purchasing, product development purchasing, and procurement functions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Platforms, Marketing, Brands, Corporate Development, and Parts to achieve the company's strategic objectives.



Responsibilities

* Manages all purchasing activities for multiple Global Product Platforms.
* Leads Wholegoods buyers to achieve functional goals and supports individual development.
* Acts as Commodity Purchasing and PD Purchasing, supporting new product launches and developing sourcing strategies to meet program timing, cost, quality, delivery, and strategic goals such as market share increase and margin improvement.
* Supports Marketing and Brands teams in supplier involvement to enhance CNH's new product offerings and improve revenue.
* Holds decision-making authority on all sourcing decisions for new products and is a voting member of the Product Development Platform for milestone approvals.
* Accountable for all purchased product costs and supplier relationships.
* Leads negotiations and implements long-term agreements (LTAs) to achieve commercial savings and raw material recovery, ensuring material cost and supply chain stability.
* Manages Parts & Service for associated products.
* Drives the identification and implementation of cost reduction opportunities.
* Supports Material Management, Lifecycle, and Sales and Marketing to achieve cross-functional targets related to revenue, margin, delivery, and quality.
* Assists the Mergers & Acquisitions team in evaluating new opportunities for CNHi.
* Internal customers supported: Global Product Platform, Commercial Brands, Parts and Service, and Mergers & Acquisitions.



Qualifications

* A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field
* A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

The preferred candidate will have experience with the following:
* Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
* Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and computer skills.
* Strong team player within purchasing, other functions, and global locations.
* Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Customer-oriented mindset.
* Knowledge and experience in raw material analysis and tracking systems.
* Experienced in analyzing, selecting, recommending, approving, and auditing suppliers for various product platforms in a multi-plant manufacturing environment, based on supplier capabilities in design, support, quality, and manufacturing.
* Strong negotiation background with knowledge of corporate purchasing practices and strategies, successfully closing long-term agreements that contribute to organizational goals.
* Experienced in developing and implementing commodity strategies.
* Proven ability to mitigate supplier delivery, cost, and relationship issues with positive outcomes for the company.
* Capable of facilitating and leading technical and commercial meetings with multiple cross-functional participants.
* Preferred experience in internal commodity purchasing.
