Essential Job Duties |
Join our team as a
Business Intelligence/Data Analyst in the Business Systems Department within the Facilities Division! We are seeking a detail-oriented professional who can
expertly manage systems to track, validate, and record the work and costs associated with the Facilities Division. This role is essential in ensuring campus customer satisfaction, supporting accurate billing, and generating insightful reports through tools like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau,
BIRT, Crystal Reports, and Google and Microsoft Suites. If you're ready to make a difference and contribute to our campus community, apply today!
Key responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
- Support for the integrated work/fleet management systems, campus-wide, across multiple departments
- Ensure security protocols and manage multiple databases, and data repository
- Provide knowledge in applications analysis, design analysis, project planning, and thorough testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation
- Perform system upgrades and lead projects to implement new processes in a dynamic environment
- Provide technical support to system programmers, analysts, and other staff involved in implementing and integrating AiM and Microsoft Power BI solutions across the campus
- Execute ETL processes and conduct data analysis to deliver actionable business intelligence and trend insights that support data-driven decision-making
- Create and maintain Microsoft Power BI dashboards and DAX formulas for data transformation and analysis
- Work with Web/Power Apps development to integrate Microsoft Power BI with new and existing dashboards for enhanced user accessibility
- Generate standard or custom reports summarizing financial or operational data for stakeholders
- Ensure timely delivery of business intelligence to users and maintain tools and systems to support continuous improvement
- Collaborate extensively with the Facilities Budget Office and other Directors to ensure accurate billing and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
- Support the Business Systems team, by providing data visualization insights and recommendations

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Master's degree in a related field of study and at least one year of relevant experience OR
- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study with at least two years' of relevant experience OR
- An equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience

Other Required Qualifications |
- Proficient in Microsoft Power BI/Tableau development, including DAX functions, Power Query, Power Automate, and integration with other business systems to create impactful visualizations, reports, and dashboards
- Skilled in SQL for creating custom tables, views, and scripts
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, data systems, data reporting, and data visualization best practices
- Experience with JavaScript, Web Apps, REST APIs, and database management in Oracle, MS SQL Server, and MongoDB
- Customer-focused, with a strong drive to empower better decision-making through effective data usage
- Competent in developing project scopes, test plans, and comprehensive technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience within a Facilities Management department
- Proficiency in AiM Integrated Work Management System
- Skilled in creating Microsoft's paginated reports and integrating into Power BI dashboard
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud services (Azure, Microsoft Power BI Service)
- Familiarity with ESRI GIS products and other report writing tools
- Familiar with Paginated reports and Microsoft Power Automate
