Hydraulic Cylinder Assembler - 2^nd Shift Kress is looking for a full time Hydraulic Cylinder Assembler to join our team in the development of specialized industrial equipment for steel, construction, and mining industries. The Hydraulic Cylinder Assembler will carefully put together the various components of a hydraulic cylinder, including the piston, rod, seals, and cylinder barrel, ensuring proper alignment and torque specifications, while maintaining a high level of cleanliness to prevent contamination of the internal parts, all according to detailed blueprints and quality standards. Responsibilities - Ensures cylinders are properly assembled according to drawings, blueprints, and test instructions on work orders Uses hand tools, overhead cranes, pneumatic assembly tools, and torque wrenches to assemble cylinders Assembles, tests, and tags all cylinders Operation of test stand Familiar with small and very large hydraulic cylinders and sealing systems Clean and organize work area daily Qualifications - High school diploma required (or equivalent) 2-3 years' experience in hydraulic cylinder assembly, testing, or similar mechanical assembly roles Understanding of mechanical principals and how hydraulic cylinders function preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints Expertise in hand tools and torque wrenches Kress Benefits - Group Health Insurance including Prescriptions Dental Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Vacation Paid Holidays
