POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a strategic partner to designated business units within our organization. This role is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management, providing comprehensive HR support, and driving HR initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand their goals and challenges, and provide HR guidance to support business objectives.
  • Employee Relations: Address complex employee relations issues, conduct thorough investigations when necessary, and provide resolutions that are fair and consistent with company policies.
  • Performance Management: Support the implementation of performance management systems, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans to enhance employee productivity and growth.
  • Talent Acquisition and Retention: Partner with the recruitment team to attract top talent and develop retention strategies to reduce turnover and maintain a high-performing workforce.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs for teams and individuals, facilitate learning opportunities, and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  • HR Policy Implementation: Ensure the consistent application of HR policies and procedures, and provide guidance to management and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and develop solutions, programs, and policies to improve HR effectiveness and support business goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;
  • other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
