JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State Human Resources (HR) is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to provide outstanding support to the HR Data and Onboarding team. This position will be specifically supporting the Onboarding team. Minimally requires High School Diploma/GED or Vocational Training/Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate must demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, professionalism, the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team; and a high degree of sensitivity in handling confidential information. Proficiency in Office365 suite is preferred. The successful candidate will also possess strong customer service and communication skills, both oral and written; the ability to effectively learn and utilize new technologies; and the ability to prioritize and multi-task. This position offers a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus work. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process. This is a limited-term appointment funded for six months from date of hire with possibility of re-funding The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is: $34,800.00 - $50,500.00Salary Structure - additional information on Penn State's job and salary structure. CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS: Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
