The Opportunity

The Account Executive is responsible for driving IDNs and hospitals into adoption to or expansion of their Telehealth services, throughout their enterprise, through partnerships with Teladoc Health. Upon implementation of Teladoc Health's solutions, the Regional Sales Director is responsible for driving high client satisfaction. This includes but is not limited to training, clinical program expansion, business intelligence reporting, and ongoing project management. The ideal candidate will live in the market and lead sales across Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Maine.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully sell Teladoc Hospital and Health System's (HHS) enterprise virtual health platform and other solutions to Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and hospitals

  • Gain access to, collaborate with, and effectively present Teladoc HHS solutions to IDN C-level leaders, including Strategy (CEO, COO, VPs of Strategy and Population Health), IT (CIO, CMIO), Clinical (Chairperson, Medical Director, Director of Preoperative, ORS), and Digital Health (CTO, VP, Telehealth)

  • Coordinate with Teladoc HHS colleagues to effectively present, design, sell, contract, and implement solutions that solve customers' virtual health care needs

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Teladoc HHS's solutions; being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of many topics; being the connector on others, bringing other SMEs into the sales, design, contracting, and implementation processes

  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated sales success consistently exceeded objective

  • Experience is inclusive of enterprise software (SaaS), medical device, or other enterprise-wide products or services required

  • Sales process and success has necessitated consistent C-Suite engagement required

  • Track record selling/closing high-value solutions >$1MM

  • High working knowledge of PC based applications, Salesforce.com, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Travel (50%) throughout territory may be required

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

  • Visionary - the ability to consult, gain consensus, and drive action based on benefits, both tangible and intangible, both short-term and long-term

  • Challenger - the ability to drive a "change of behavior" concept sell that is premised on a system solution and process (not a single user or "me too" product sale)

  • Multitasking

  • Strategic selling principles

  • Negotiate contracts within acceptable company parameters

  • Collaboration with customers and colleagues

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience.

Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years' experience within the employer healthcare benefit consultant/broker space

  • A proven track record of success with complex and strategic account management

  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and listening skills, with a natural, effective consultative style the ability to energize, communicate and build rapport at all levels within an organization

  • Strong project management skills, with a demonstrable ability to corral and manage details in a fast-paced, fluid environment

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience advising, presenting to and persuading senior corporate personnel

  • Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with highly talented professionals

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills

  • Leadership experience and skill, with a vision for strategic partnership development

  • A bachelor's degree (BS/BA)

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Willingness to travel for work

The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $120,000.In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed hereTeladoc Health Benefits 2025.Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
