Job Description

CapTech Workday Consultants work alongside our clients to help them maximize their Workday investment. CapTech is looking for an individual experienced in Workday and Payroll. We support current Workday customers by optimizing their implementation, providing expertise and recommendations based on best practices. As a Senior Workday Consultant, you will play a central role in client engagement and serve as a subject matter expert for this rapidly developing technology. Prior Payroll Workday experience is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Payroll Workday expertise and support to customers
  • Lead all aspects of Workday engagements, from planning and design phases all the way to configuration, testing and deployment
  • Work side-by-side with key business and technical stakeholders to elicit solution requirements, drive the solution design, and ensure the finished product meets the needs of the business
  • Quickly become familiar with client business challenges and technologies to act as a SME and trusted advisor to client stakeholders
  • Translate business requirements into well architected solutions that best leverage the platform
  • Quickly establish collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders and team members
Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience (Need to change as this isn't a developer role)
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience
  • 3+ years' hands-on Workday experience with enterprise-level applications / 2+ years experience Payroll Workday experience
  • Demonstrated functional experience in Workday HCM
  • Experience gathering requirements, designing, prototyping, testing and deploying solutions to meet client requirements
  • Experience leading projects and engagements to completion
  • Client-ready written and oral communications skills
  • Works well independently, and collaboratively in a team
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and experience with complete lifecycle of enterprise projects
