About the Role:

Join Yardi's Travel
Administration team as a Senior Manager and take charge of our global travel
program. You'll lead a U.S.-based team, collaborate with international coordinators,
and work closely with leadership to ensure seamless travel operations. From
negotiating vendor agreements and implementing cost-saving strategies to
enhancing traveler well-being and sustainability efforts, you'll play a pivotal
role in shaping Yardi's travel policies and experiences. If you're passionate

meaningful impact across our global operations.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage
    a US team of travel professionals; provides guidance and consultation to travel
    coordinators based in international offices
  • Develop,
    interpret, update, and enforces North American travel policies in conjunction
    with executive leadership
  • Partner
    with international executives to maintain and update international travel
    policies; provide guidance and insight on best practices
  • Evaluate,
    negotiate with, and select global travel vendors (TMCs, airlines, car rental
    agencies, hotels); maintain and nurture relationships; review and renegotiate
    contracts
  • Manage
    travel approvals; ensure all travel requests are reviewed, approved, and in
    agreement with travel policies; handles approvals of policy exceptions
  • Oversee
    the resolutions of travel issues, handle and resolve complex and escalated
    travel issues
  • Monitor,
    analyze, and optimize travel spend; identify cost-saving opportunities and
    implement strategies to reduce expenses
  • Manage
    duty of care responsibilities; actively review and update measures in place to
    ensure the well-being of employees while traveling
  • Communicate
    travel information and policy changes to travelers; develops resources to
    support effective communication (e.g., travel intranet, travel newsletter)
  • Coordinate
    with existing administrative, human resources, events, and marketing teams
    handling travel, including global travel, event travel, and visa processing;
    aim to streamline processes and bring all travel functions under the
    responsibility of the travel team
  • Evaluate,
    recommend, and implement new travel tools and technology
  • Focus
    on traveler comfort and well-being; distribute perks to travelers where
    possible
  • Create and implement environmental
    sustainability goals & policy, including air and ground carbon usage and
    carbon offsets; develop reporting to track and analyze performance

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in tourism,
    travel, business, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education
    and experience
  • Seven (7) years of global travel
    management experience with proven success in policy development and supplier
    selection
  • Two (2) years of leadership
    experience managing and supervising a team
  • Comprehensive knowledge and
    understanding of domestic and international travel regulations and customs
  • Advanced knowledge and
    proficiency with SAP Concur
  • Strong analytical and critical
    thinking skills
  • Exceptional negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead a diverse team
    across multiple regions and time zones
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to present insights
    to team members and executive leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
    and initiatives in a deadline-driven environment
  • Team-oriented with the ability to
    build relationships with all levels of employees and vendors
  • Microsoft 365 proficiency
