Summary

The Customer Service Dispatcher provides administrative and operational support to ensure smooth branch operations.

Description

  • Answers high volume of incoming customer calls and emails.
  • Works closely with branch mgmt. to schedule and dispatch service calls to meet customer needs.
  • Open service orders as needed in the computer system.
  • Assist with dispatching duties as needed.
  • Close service orders for billing upon completion of order using the computer system.
  • Assist in resolving customer problems/complaints.
  • Generate accurate purchase orders for parts to corporate office and outside vendors.
  • Run daily and monthly reports. Submit reports as required to corporate office.
  • Provide technicians with any necessary information needed for their service calls.
  • Route parts calls as necessary.
  • Maintain clean and professional office environment.
  • If necessary, work with factories in obtaining correct parts for service needs.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Required Education | Experience
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Valid Driver's License and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
  • Completion of a satisfactory background background and drug screen is required.
  • 1-3 years of previous administrative experience combined with 2 years of computer experience.
  • One (1) year of experience in a dispatching role.
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong windows-based computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills combined with good interpersonal skills.
  • High level of accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Typing speed of 50 WPM or higher.
Working | Environmental Conditions:
  • Parts/Stock room and office environment.
  • Some lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.
  • Some twisting, bending and stooping associated with stocking of parts.
  • Some computer usage (mouse and keyboarding) approximately 30%-50% of time.
  • Some local travel for parts delivery and pick up may be required, additional infrequent travel to corporate office.
