Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our clients in Miramar, FL. Interested? Summary Aviation technician troubleshoots, repairs, and/or overhauls, and test aircraft components to include the removal and re-installation of all sub-components. Receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician. Here's what you'd do: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, Work involves disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and test of those components serviced and piece parts of the repair station manual. Applies technical knowledge of aircraft components in determining equipment malfunctions. Applies required expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation. Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufacturer's manuals. Will be required to make entries in work order documentation for work performed. Other duties as needed and assigned. Understand and perform functions in accordance with FAA, EASA, AS9110, and ISO9001 Standards Physical Demands Customary physical demands for warehouse environment, including: Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs., over 40 lbs. with assistance. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: High School Diploma Minimum 4 years of actual and recent experience in the repair, modification, maintenance, and overhaul, testing of APU. Minimum 4 years of demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional groups. Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings, and other small scales. Must be able to read dials/gauges and identify small objects and hand tools. Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Associate degree preferred. 36-150 APU Series experience preferred. Foreign Language skills desirable May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklifts, etc. Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills; ability to interact positively with teammates at various levels across the company and with customers. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and document maintenance functions.
