About the Opportunity:

The Maintenance Mechanic is a key contributor to ensuring seamless manufacturing operations within the Prescott, AZ facility. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and improving equipment critical to the production of turbine engine components. The position requires a blend of technical expertise in industrial mechanics and electricity, hands-on problem-solving, and the ability to interpret and apply technical documentation. The Maintenance Mechanic also supports facility repairs and construction projects, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the plant. Responsibilities:

  • Perform and/or assist in installing, servicing, and maintaining operating conditions for all equipment.
  • Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance needs for plant machinery and equipment.
  • Utilize manufacturers' drawings, specifications, installation layouts, and sketches for internal handling of non-major repairs.
  • Assist with training other employees in maintenance procedures.
  • Follow all applicable safety rules and precautions.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CMRT (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician) certification.
  • Working knowledge of industrial mechanics and industrial electricity.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to use and maintain related test equipment.
  • Proficient in operating maintenance shop equipment.
  • Demonstrate good mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and blueprints.

Work Conditions:

  • Regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, acetone, alcohol, argon, braze alloys, nitrogen, hydrogen, oil-based lubricants, and cleaning solutions.
  • Occasional exposure to moderate cold and extreme heat.
  • Night and/or weekend hours may be required.

Compensation & Benefits:

This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience. Expected weekly hours: 40-50. We offer a competitive benefit package, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, and company-paid holidays.

The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on the date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements, among other factors.

Must be willing and able to work onsite full-time in Prescott, AZ. This position is not eligible for relocation.
