Company: TEKsystems Title: Wireless Install Technician Office Location: Chicago -- West Loop Duration: 6 month Contract-to-Hire Schedule: M-F, first shift Pay Rate: Flexible based on Field Install experience Start Date: ASAP in January 2025 Will report to main office/warehouse daily and ride out to jobsite with Lead/Foreman for 6 month Contract Top Skills Required 1) 1+ year of experience with terminating and testing RJ45 and Cat6 cables 2) Prior experience with installation of telecom or wireless equipment 3) Experience with Rack/Stack and working in a networking or data closet environment Must have Reliable Vehicle & Valid License Must be willing to consent to Background & Driving Checks Must own personal hand tools & PPE Comfortable with heights Job Description Our client is looking for 3 wireless technicians for installations within customer MDU units. These technicians will be tasked with installing routers and switches within a networking closet, installation antennas and point to point wireless infrastructure on the building, and also testing, terminating, and pulling cable. Candidates must have prior experience with installation of telecom or wireless systems. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
