Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Pay rate: $41 per hour As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for conducting regular inspections to ensure facility systems are functioning properly and addressing any deficiencies. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including refrigerants, heat exchangers, pumps, and air conditioning units. Performing preventative maintenance on building systems, documenting equipment history, and ensuring operational status will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will handle heating and cooling issues, manage water treatment systems, and maintain inventory of filters and refrigerants. You'll also install, repair, and maintain electrical controls, wiring, and motor systems, including both single-phase and three-phase motors. Collaborating with the team on major repairs, optimizing the Preventative Maintenance Program, and ensuring safety by following OSHA guidelines are also important aspects of the job. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, with formal HVAC training and required certifications, including Universal Refrigeration License and valid driver's license. 6+ years of relevant HVAC experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email, with the ability to read, interpret, and write technical documents and effectively communicate. Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate fractions, decimals, percentages, and interpret data. Must be able to perform essential duties with or without accommodations and demonstrate the ability to learn new computer applications.
