Schedule: 1st Shift

Pay: $35 - $37 per hour (based on experience)

As an HVAC Technician II, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, refrigeration systems, and associated controls. Your duties will involve conducting daily inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities:



  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs according to work orders, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Inspect and maintain HVAC systems, including refrigerants, pumps, valves, and filters.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC malfunctions.
  • Record and adjust equipment readings for optimal performance.
  • Manage HVAC inventory and conduct system tests.
  • Safely handle materials and assist with water treatment programs.
  • Install and maintain electrical controls (Electrical Journeyman certification may be required).
  • Provide prompt customer service and work closely with the CMMS Planner/Scheduler for preventive maintenance.
  • Assist with major repairs when necessary.


Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED; formal HVAC training and certifications required.
  • 6+ years of HVAC experience.
  • Universal Refrigeration License and valid driver's license.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interpret safety guidelines, operating instructions, and manuals.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rate, ratio, percentage).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email; ability to learn new software.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing tasks involving standing, walking, reaching, and climbing.
