Job Description

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting HR Specialist opportunity in our Guymon office. You will be a critical human resources team member in this highly impactful role with a focus on compliance related to the Family Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and the I9 process as well as providing stellar customer service to employees. The specialist understands the enterprise system of record, data management, and all software programs used to manage employee leave.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Works within established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies local, state, and federal regulations with regard to areas of responsibility.
  • Resolves questions/concerns of employees by providing information on processes and the related policies and referring to others where necessary for interpretation of policy.
  • Builds effective working relationships within the organization, delivering high-quality professional/customer-centered service with guidance from management.
  • Conduct internal audits on I9 forms and report on findings.
  • Facilitate Employee Authorization Documents (EADs) process to ensure compliance.
  • Track work restrictions and reasonable accommodation requests under the ADA.
  • Manage the benefits payment process for employees out on leave.
  • Prepares or maintains employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
  • Performs basic clerical tasks including answering phones, data entry, scanning, and copying to ensure employee files are maintained accurately
  • All other duties assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:



  • Work experience in human resources or other related fields in a high volume, fast-paced work environment while influencing others, applying sound judgment and non-bias to situations, and building relationships.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills or a demonstrated ability to reach an advanced level.
  • Bilingual - English and Spanish


Preferred:



  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience in all relevant HR subject areas.

  • The noise level in the work environment is dependent on which environment you are in
  • The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. After-hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.
