We have an exciting Class A CDL Driver opportunity in our Holyoke office. The Class CDL Feed haul Driver will plan, build, assist, and coordinate animal movement schedules for animal operations teams. Dispatching includes market haul trucks, drivers, and loadout crew members in order to move animals efficiently to plant operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform job assignments as determined by Supervisor (Dispatcher).
• Accurate paperwork is required.
• Drives truck with trailer to destination, loads/unloads trailers with and without assistance.
• Meet all DOT requirements, including random alcohol/drug-testing program.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers such as farm and plant employees.
• Comply with all Processes, Procedures and Policies, following Bio-Security flow.
• Instruct and direct driver trainees as assigned.
• Makes preventive maintenance check and inspection of assigned equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil and water, reports findings to supervisor and takes appropriate action.
• Reports accidents immediately to dispatcher, requesting police or ambulance service as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• High School or GED.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• Analytically minded and willing to learn new computer systems.
• Add skills and/or Core Competencies.

COMPENSATION We offer a competitive pay rate based on your skills and experience related to this position. Our starting compensation for this position in Holyoke, CO is $24.00/hr.
