The salary range for a Dental Product Compliance Analyst is $67,000 to $121,000. Actual salaries will vary by geographic location and are based on factors such as candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, competencies, and company tenure & equity. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance and individual performance.

Dental Product Compliance Analyst Overview

The Dental Product Compliance Analyst supports the Company's efforts to ensure the Company's portfolio of dental products are following and continue to meet federal and state regulatory standards and guidelines. This role may also support the Company's portfolio of life, disability, and supplemental products as needed. They play a role in identifying compliance risks, thereby maintaining the integrity and trustworthiness of the Company's products in the market. This role will work with the Company's product development, marketing, sales, and underwriting teams.

Essential Duties:



  • Ensure dental, life, and disability products comply with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Research and analyze regulations, statutes, and standards to support product development compliance of the product portfolio
  • Review and monitor legal and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance of the product portfolio
  • Monitor and assess product compliance risk in support of our products and business
  • Work closely with business areas to ensure that regulatory updates and requirements are integrated into all stages of product development and administration
  • Maintain records of compliance activities for reporting to management and regulatory bodies
  • Conduct internal audits and reviews of products and processes
  • Develop and enforce internal policies and procedures related to product compliance
  • Support the filing of necessary forms for the product portfolio
  • Support general compliance activities and other responsibilities, including documentation practices, special projects, training, incident and ad-hoc reporting, as assigned
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



  • Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal regulations related to dental, life, and health products
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in product development and product compliance
  • Familiarity in using compliance management and/or regulatory tracking tools and software
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret and apply regulations to Company's portfolio of business
  • Strong research skills to support federal and state product compliance reporting needs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to assess compliance risks and propose corrective measures
  • Excellent communication skills to update internal team on external compliance activities and business areas on internal compliance activities


Required Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • 5+ year of related experience
  • Or, equivalent military experience


Preferred Education and Experience:



  • Experience in the insurance industry, specifically life, disability, and health.
