Job Summary (Primary function)
The Sr Dir - Master Data Management Strategy and Operations leads the shared services team owning foundational data assets, related infrastructure, and governance that ensure all commercial systems operate from a single, trusted source of truth. This role and their team are responsible for assigning and maintaining the golden record-a single, authoritative version of each HCP, HCO, and account entity by integrating, de-duplicating, and resolving records across multiple source systems (e.g., IQVIA, Veeva, Salesforce, internal sources). Under the Sr Dir's leadership, the team ensures that all commercial teams operate from a consistent, unified customer identity, which is essential for accurate targeting, sales and activity reporting, CRM execution, and compliance reporting.
Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)
* The Senior Director of Master Data Management (MDM) will lead the strategy, governance, and execution of enterprise master data capabilities within a shared services model, supporting both Oncology and Dermatology business units. This role is accountable for ensuring integrity, consistency, and availability of critical data domain across commercial, medical affairs, and other downstream systems across the organization.
* This role leads a team focused on centralizing master data management and key data assets to create an enterprise-wide foundation of reliable customer, product, territory, and other reference data, while driving data quality, consistency, and governance
* Operating within a shared services model, the Sr. Director of MDM prevents duplication and inconsistencies while powering CRM, analytics, omnichannel engagement, and sales and incentive compensation with governed, harmonized data. This role enables faster product launches, accurate segmentation, and compliant customer engagement across the enterprise.
* Responsibilities include: (1) management of core data domains including customer and healthcare provider/organization (HCP/HCO) data, affiliation and account hierarchies, product and reference data, sales territory and alignment structures, payer and market access information to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency across the enterprise; (2)strategic deployment of existing and new MDM sources throughout US commercial internal systems, external platforms, and other Incyte systems, including the including integration architecture, standards, and governance; and (3) partnering with stakeholders to design and deliver, and support MDM solutions.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., Sunshine Act, HIPAA), state and federal transparency laws, and PDMA requirements.

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competence)
* Bachelor's degree in a technical field required, master's preferred
* 10-12 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry; 3+ years in a leadership role
* 10-12 years' experience with master data management practices and platforms (Informatica, Profisee) and architecting highly reliable integrations and workflows.
* Expert level experience implementing MDM solutions for Specialty Pharmacy/Distributor data, IQVIA (XPO, FIA, LAAD, OneKey, HCOS), AMA/DEA/NPI, claims, and MedPro.
* Proven expertise in establishing data governance, stewardship, and data quality management frameworks
* Advanced understanding of data warehouse, analytics, and CRM systems.
* Demonstrated experience as a technical business partner supporting key business partners and groups.
