Job Summary:
  • The Facility Maintenance Engineer will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all facility equipment to include but not limited to back up generators, compressed air systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, etc. The Facility Maintenance Engineer will also complete general building maintenance throughout the facility and grounds.
Job Duties:
  • Minor repair and installation of electrical devices.
  • Maintenance of facility lighting and emergency lighting systems.
  • General plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations.
  • Drywall repair and painting
  • Light welding.
  • Installation/removal of machinery.
  • Assemble, repair, and move furniture and related fixtures.
  • Provide preventative maintenance on equipment inside and outside the facility as well as keeping the grounds safe and up to OSHA standards.
  • General day to day maintenance of the production facility.
  • Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable federal, State and local codes, regulations and requirements.
Accountabilities:
  • Reports to Head of Corporate Infrastructure.
Job Specifications:
  • Must physically be able to bend, stretch, and stoop, but not limited to only these physical activities.
  • Requires lifting of 40 lbs. or more without aid.
  • Involves normal hand, eye, and walking coordination.
  • Ability to work from ladders and scissor lifts.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
  • Flexibility to work different schedules.
  • Availability for required overtime and weekend work as necessary.
Qualifications: Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Completion of an Electrical Course from a recognized Technical Institute is preferred.
  • 3-4 years facility maintenance experience.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
  • Experience with general plumbing repairs and installations.
  • Proficiency in Arc-Mig welding.
  • Ability to operate powered lift trucks.
  • Highly motivated and self-starting.
  • Excellent knowledge of basic hand tools.
  • Strong mathematics and computer skills.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00 per hour and is eligible for an annual bonus.
