- POSITION SUMMARY The Range Master will be responsible for coordinating the daily range schedule. RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate daily range usage Ensure range readiness by conducting physical inspections of ranges Ensure ranges are checked out/in in accordance with Range Control SOPs Identify deficiencies in conjunction with instructors Coordinate with range maintenance to resolve range deficiencies De-conflict range schedule when needed Provide assistance to instructors as needed Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship High school diploma or equivalent is required Must be at least 21 years of age with no legal disqualifiers to possess firearms Must have a valid US driver's license and satisfactory driver record Must be willing to operate Company vehicle Three years of experience as a Range Master or equivalent combination of training and related experience in US Military or Law Enforcement required Current Chief Range Safety Officer Certification (NRA) preferred Proficiency with MS Office required Effective oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment Must be able to lift, lower, carry, push or move objects up to 80 lbs.Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday. Requires constant use of hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. WORKING CONDITIONS Work is based in a busy training environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Frequent work outside and in inclement weather conditions is required, including heat, cold and humidity. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. Must wear personal protective equipment as required by established Company safety standards.Normal business hours are Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, however some extended hours or weekends may be required, and work schedule will vary. #MON - In an ever-changing and complex world, security concerns are paramount.
