Responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of shipboard IT infrastructure, including servers and workstations, satellite and network communications, and installed software applications aboard Company-managed vessels. Participate in the planning and execution of various vessel-related technical projects, including vessel reflags and hardware upgrades. Provide technical advice and training to mariners, vessel managers, and IT personnel. Key Responsibilities:

Travel Requirements: Medium Physical Demands & Work Environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While in the office, general office settings apply; typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work, usually at a computer terminal - with short breaks or lunch periods. However, there may be some bending/stooping, reaching above shoulder level, walking; standing; carrying of items such as servers, printers or packages of up to 70 pounds. Should be able to hear & speak clearly using phone / headset to communicate with customers; be able to navigate, view & enter information on the computer. Must be able to pick up computers, and be able to crawl under desks to connect systems. In addition, employee will be exposed to shipboard conditions which will include; bending/stooping, reaching above shoulder level, walking; standing, and climbing multiple flights of stairs. There may be some instances where employee will have to stay overnight on a MLL vessel that is either docked or underway.
