AspenTech creates software innovations that tackle the most complex process manufacturing challenges, creating significant value and improving profitability, resilience and sustainability for our customers. We are seeking a high energy technical professional to serve as Sr. Product Marketing Manager supporting AspenTech's Unified platform, including a focus on yield accounting and oil movements products, a subset of our Manufacturing & Supply Chain business. These products are essential parts of Production Optimization, which brings unmatched value to customer operations.

The Sr. Product Marketing Manager is a global position that has primary "go-to-market" responsibility and collaborates closely with customers as well as globally distributed cross-functional teams in Sales, Product Management, and Field Marketing to develop strategies, messaging and tactics that deliver business growth and help scale customer adoption of products. Your Impact
  • Responsible for driving the development and execution of strategy and tactics in key market segments of energy and chemicals.
  • Ability to clearly demonstrate and articulate the value of AspenTech's solutions to a wide variety of business stakeholders.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market.
  • Identify Best Practices through research and case studies from customers.
  • Develop and deliver sales enablement training and supporting materials (presentations and demonstrations) to Sales.
  • Plan the launch of new products and releases and manage their cross-functional implementation.
  • Create sales enablement tools that align with the AspenTech sales process to support effective and efficient engagement with target customers.
  • Drive successful marketing campaigns with compelling content.
  • Development of conference content and identification of customer papers for Aspen Global Conferences and customer-facing marketingevents.
  • Createcontent to drive solution awareness including product collateral, whitepapers, web, video and social content.
  • Work collaboratively with Industry Marketing to ensure solution area messaging is representative of relevant industry dynamics.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline required, preferably Chemical Engineering.
  • 5 - 10 years' experience of demonstrated success in the Energy, Chemicals or related process industry segments.
  • Successful history in product marketing, including experience with worldwide marketing campaigns.
  • Experience with yield accounting, oil movements, planning, or scheduling software solutions.
  • Strong technical skills, including architecture, containerization, security and user experience.
  • Ability to communicate with architecture team.
  • Refinery or Chemical Plant Operations software solutions is desired.
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, detail-oriented, charismatic, personable.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability and willingness to travel at least 15% (including internationally).
