The Senior DevOps Engineer drives the integration of DevOps principles, enabling agile development teams to confidently and efficiently deliver high-quality software. You will serve as a bridge across development, operations, security, and other stakeholders, using an engineering mindset to translate business objectives into robust CI/CD pipelines, code-driven automation, and sustainable platform strategies. While we leverage deployment tools, Infrastructure-as-Code, DORA4 metrics, scanning tool, and automated testing tools to guide our work, this role is not just about tools-it's about leveraging coding best practices and continuous improvement to enhance our delivery pipeline.

DevOps Strategy & Integration:
Leads the organization's DevOps strategy using DORA4 metrics as key indicators of success. Ensures that our practices and architectures enable high-velocity software development.

Technical Enablement of Teams:
Coaches development teams to implement effective build, test, and deployment patterns within automated pipelines. Helps them to apply code-based solutions such as infrastructure-as-code templates, test-driven development, and automated quality gates, guiding teams to release software more confidently.

Collaboration & Mentorship:
Works closely with Development, Operations, Security, and QA to embed DevOps principles at every stage of the delivery pipeline. Mentors engineers on using our tools more efficiently, improving their understanding of CI/CD concepts, code-level automation, and continuous improvement techniques.

Automated Pipelines & Code Management:
Architects and maintains CI/CD pipelines that prioritize code quality, branching strategies, and automated testing. Integrates security scans, linting, and performance tests directly into the pipeline, ensuring reliability without relying solely on manual oversight.

Continuous Improvement & Engineering Mindset:
Uses DORA4 metrics and other KPIs to identify bottlenecks, optimize feedback loops, and enhance developer productivity. Encourages teams to refine their code, configurations, and workflows, steadily improving reliability, scalability, and time-to-market.

Innovation & Research:
Stays current with evolving DevOps practices, development frameworks, modern solutioning. Recommends approaches that leverage our existing toolsets, and helps uncover new tools for consideration.


  • 5-8 years of combined experience in software development, IT infrastructure, or related fields.
  • Strong coding and scripting abilities, and a solid understanding of how to build testable, maintainable, and scalable software. Expertise in Git, CI/CD concepts, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach teams, influence stakeholders, and embed DevOps principles across the delivery lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience in using a variety of DevSecOps tools such as git, Azure DevOps, UrbanCode Deploy, Kubernetes, Terraform, feature flag tools, APIM.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and/or commensurate experience.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.


Location

Hybrid defined as three (3) or more days per week in the office.
