What Would You Do As A Shop Manager?

As a Shop Manager at Journey Group, you'll lead a dedicated team of mechanics in maintaining and repairing a diverse variety of heavy equipment and machinery. Your strong leadership and organizational skills will be critical in guiding the team through daily operations, ensuring that equipment repairs are executed efficiently and safely. You'll set performance goals aligned with Journey's vision, mentor employees, and foster a culture of collaboration and productivity. As a key player in overseeing our shop's workflow, you'll prioritize urgent repair needs, uphold safety standards, and maintain compliance with environmental regulations.

Are You A Good Fit For This Shop Manger Role?

To excel as a Shop Manager at Journey Group, you'll need a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership skills. A solid foundation in heavy equipment mechanics, diagnostics, and shop coordination is essential, with a preference for candidates holding an associate's degree in automotive or diesel equipment technology or a minimum of five years of relevant experience. You should demonstrate a thorough understanding of mechanical systems and be adept at visually diagnosing issues while effectively utilizing standard tools and computer diagnostic software.
